Women’s rights are human rights.
But around the world—and right here in Belgium—migrant and refugee women face layered discrimination because of their gender, migration background, religion, or ethnicity. They face barriers to employment, experience gender-based violence, struggle with insecure housing, and often lack access to justice.
At Solidarity With OTHERS, we believe that justice and equality are not optional. We work to make women’s rights visible and accessible, ensuring that women can live with safety, dignity, and the power to shape their own futures.
Women’s rights are central to the EU’s legal framework and democratic identity, shaping policies on equality, participation, and fundamental freedoms while remaining essential to addressing persistent inequalities.
We run workshops and trainings so that women know their rights—and how to use them.
We support women to overcome language barriers, access education and employment, and build confidence and independence.
We push for systemic change, ensuring that women’s voices are heard where decisions are made.
