The release of Aydın Adıyaman and Ali Murat Çelik, who are held in Bolu F-Type High-Security Prison, has been blocked. Both prisoners have been incarcerated for 32 years and, despite having completed their sentences and becoming eligible for conditional release, they have been kept in prison for an additional two years. The Prison Administration and Observation Board prevented their release once again, claiming that Adıyaman and Çelik “have not shown remorse for the crimes they committed.” As a result, Adıyaman’s release was postponed by five months, while Çelik’s was postponed by three months. To date, Adıyaman’s release has been blocked five times, and Çelik’s release has been blocked for the sixth time.
