Case Summary
Prisoners in Batman Beşiri T-Type Closed Prison are experiencing difficult conditions. It has been reported that water has not been running for days, exposing prisoners to the risk of infectious diseases.² The collapse of water wells has rendered toilets and showers unusable, making it impossible for prisoners to meet even their basic needs. The fact that temperatures have been above 45 degrees has further worsened the conditions. Hundreds of prisoners can only access water for one hour a day.³ Immediate intervention by the Ministry is expected.
