Case Summary
Abdullah Yalçın, who was being held in Siverek Prison, was found dead in the cell where he had been staying alone. It was reported that the prisoner had been held in the cell for the previous 10 days. His relatives were informed that the death was believed to be a suicide. However, the exact cause of death has not yet been determined. The prisoner’s body was transferred to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) in Diyarbakır for an autopsy. The investigation into the prisoner’s death is ongoing.
