Hicran Binici, who is held in Sincan Prison, was not released despite having completed the period required to serve her sentence. The release of the prisoner, who has been held in prison for 33 years, was postponed for another year following an assessment by the Administrative and Observation Board. With this postponement, her release has now been prevented for the fifth time. The date of the Board’s next meeting was set for 9 September 2027.
